Hollow Cannula
The hollow cannula plays a crucial role in securing bone marrow tissue. Once the bone marrow needle is screwed into the target area, the hollow cannula is inserted to tighten the tissue. Subsequently, both the main needle and hollow cannula are removed together with the tissue.
Solid Cannula
Post biopsy, the solid cannula is inserted into the hollow cannula to retrieve the complete tissue sample from the patient, ensuring no tissue is left behind.
